Band Sponsor

In 1988 Almac took on the sponsorship of the band. The Managing Director was Alan Brown; it was his own interest in amateur music making that prompted him to answer our advert. Since then we have enjoyed both his and his wife Kate's continued support for the band.

Alan sadly passed away in August 2000, but since then Kate has become our sole sponsor.

At our AGM in June 2001 Kate has also very kindly taken on the post of Band President.
